This is the second release from the Josefina farm this season. This is a special batch of beans combining Honey process with anaerobic fermentation. The variety is called Typica Mejorado, a hybrid of Typica and Red Bourbon.
It is mainly found in Ecuador. This variety was previously called Typica Geisha. However, it was renamed because it was said to be a bit different from Geisha, and it remains so to this day.
However, the tropical flavor reminiscent of Geisha remains intact, and the unique processing method further enhances its sweetness, making it a memorable coffee.
