Menglian district of Yunnan, also very famous as a production area for Pu'er tea. In this region, coffee is cultivated almost exclusively by women.

This is an uncommon processing method: after spreading the coffee cherries thinly on African beds to dry, they undergo fermentation by being aged in oak barrels for 14 days.

It develops a liqueur-like rich aroma and a distinctive sweetness, resulting in a one-of-a-kind flavor. China has already attracted global attention as a high-level coffee-producing country.
